It has been a few days since Salim Khan was admitted to the hospital. Salim Khan, who is 90, was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. He was accompanied by his family members. From Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan to Arpita Khan and Alvira Agnihotri, the whole Khan family rushed to be by his side.
Family upset with hospital
Later, the doctor at Lilavati Hospital spoke about Salim Khan's health and how a blood clot led to a brain hemorrhage. Now, reports have surfaced that the family is not pleased with the doctor sharing Salim Khan's health update with the media without Salman Khan's or the family's knowledge or consent. The Khan family has reportedly asked the hospital not to divulge any more information to the media or to the public without their permission.

Private information
"Health is a private matter. Ideally, no updates should be shared with the media, and any communication should be left entirely to the family, if and when they choose to address fans and well-wishers," Variety India quoted a source saying.

"Salman and his family were displeased with the doctor's public statement and have clearly conveyed to the authorities that they do not want any further details disclosed," the source added.
The report further went on to mention, "It is understandable that there is immense public interest in Salim Saab's well-being, but medical information is a confidential matter. The family wants to avoid any unnecessary speculation or media scrutiny surrounding Salim Khan's condition," the insider further said.
Sanjay Dutt, who shares a close friendship with Salman Khan, also visited the Khan family in the hospital. Aamir Khan also paid a visit to Salim Khan along with girlfriend Gauri Spratt. Javed Akhtar had also visited the Khan family in the hospital to express solidarity with the family in their time of grief.
