Salman Khan's "Kick 2" has been in the news forever, whether it's about the makers announcing the remaining cast or when the film will roll. But it appears they are going to sit on it for a little while.

According to a leading daily's report cited by Catch News, producer Sajid Nadiadwala said he would begin writing "Kick 2" once "Dishoom" was done and dusted with. He said: "The last several months we have had releases one after the other. After 'Dishoom' releases, I plan to write. I want to concentrate on writing. There are several ideas that I discuss with Salman Khan and then we try to work it out. There has always been speculation about Kick [2] and it will continue till it starts."

"Kick 2" has been in the news for casting speculations and the little joke Salman made about Jacqueline Fernandez being "kicked out" of the sequel. For a while it was Amy Jackson who was being called Salman's leading lady in the film, and then Kriti Sanon was making headlines for it.

As for Salman's jibe at the "Housefull 3" actress, there seems to be no bad blood between the two and they share a great rapport even today. Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Jacqueline said she was open to the idea of working again with the 50-year-old actor.

"Nadiadwala gave me my first blockbuster with 'Housefull 2,' my first item song, and of course 'Kick,' so there is nothing that I wouldn't do for him. He supported me at a time when no one did. 'Kick' was an amazing experience and if I get another shot at something like that again in this lifetime, it'd be more than I could have asked for," the daily quoted her as saying.
