Vijay Antony's Saithan will his biggest release so far. The latest movie will be released in 1,350 screens in Tamil and Telugu, which is a much higher count than his previous movie, Pichaikkaran, which came out in 550 screens in March this year.

The success of his previous movies, such as Salim, India Pakistan and Pichaikkaran, has created a lot of buzz around his latest movie, Saithan. The massive screen count is a reflection of the high expectations from the movie, say trade experts. It will have a big release not just in Tamil Nadu, but also in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana where the movie has been dubbed as Bethaludu.

In Kerala and Karnataka, the movie is likely to be released in 125 and 100 screens, respectively.

The promotion of Saithan has been done on an impressive scale. The interesting trailer and the songs have raised the curiosity level of viewers.

Trade experts are expecting Saithan and Bethaludu to register a good opening on Thursday. Considering the screen count and the response to the pre-booking, they predict the movie will make good collections at the box office on its first day.

Saithan is a psychological thriller, a genre which has not been explored much in Tamil cinema. Pradeep Krishnamoorthy's directorial venture has been produced by Fathima Vijay Antony. Arundhati Nair plays the female lead in the film, which stars Charuhasan, Meera Krishnan and YG Mahendra in supporting roles.

Vijay Antony himself has scored the music, while Pradeep Kalipurayath has handled the cinematography and Veera Senthil Raj has edited the movie.
