Saif Ali Khan's "Bullett Raja" is all set for a solo big release on 29 November. But in the US, the film will hit theatres a day ahead on 28 November.

The gangster-thriller is carrying positive pre-release buzz, thanks to Saif Ali Khan and director Tigmanshu Dhulia of "Paan Singh Tomar" fame.

"Bullett Raja" is Saif's third release of the year after "Race 2" and "Go Goa Gone." Both these films have done good business at the box office. "Bullett Raja" joins the league of masala entertainers, a formula that has worked well with the audience in several films. However, in the past few months, commercial films like "Boss" and "Besharam" have received lukewarm response. It remains to be seen how "Bullett Raja" fares upon its release.

The action entertainer is likely to take a good opening considering that the film is having a solo release. Moreover, films that released last week - "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" and "Singh Saab The Great" - have failed to rake in the moolah. This could largely help "Bullett Raja" fetch good collections on the opening day. The film's performance will depend on reviews from critics and audience. If the Saif starrer manages to get positive reviews, it is likely to earn more revenue in the following days.

But, the Tigmanshu directorial will have just one week window to rake in good collections as Shahid Kapur's "R..Rajkumar" is hitting the screens on 6 December. The film, which is also deemed as a masala entertainer, is directed by Prabhu Deva.

In the past, Prabhu's action films such as "Wanted" and "Rowdy Rathore" have done fantastic business at the box office. Expectations would be high for his upcoming film as Shahid is teaming up with Prabhu for the first time. One needs to wait a little longer to see if "Bullett Raja" manages to dominate over "R.. Rajkumar" or if it happens the other way round next week.

Interestingly, both the films have Sonakshi Sinha as the female lead.
