Ranbir Kapoor's much delayed movie Jagga Jasoos is finally set to release on July 14, but looks like Saif Ali Khan had to make a sacrifice for his brother-in-law.
Saif's upcoming movie Chef was also scheduled to be released on July 14, but reports suggest that it has now been postponed to avoid clash with Ranbir's Jagga Jasoos.

"It's best to not clash with any big film which would eventually affect each other's business. So, the makers of Chef are planning to postpone the release date for the film," The Asian Age quoted a source as saying.
Also, there hasn't been any significant promotions of Chef movie as of now, while, the makers of Jagga Jasoos have started promoting the movie recently. However, there has not been any official confirmation on the delay in the release of Chef.
Directed by Anurag Basu, Jagga Jasoos features Katrina and Ranbir. The movie was delayed many a times for various reasons but has finally got a confirmed release date. Also, Ranbir and Katrina's breakup apparently had been a major setback for the movie.
Even recently, there was a buzz that Katrina was upset about a promotional poster of the movie that showed her and Ranbir in a lip-lock. The actress did not approve that and was eventually dropped out of the plan.
