We know Daniel Craig is going to continue his role as James Bond in the upcoming movie. However, if reports are to be believed the next Bond villain could well be Wonder Woman star Said Taghmaoui.

Taghmaoui has revealed that he might be cast in the next Bond movie. However, it all depends on which nationality the director picks.  "I'm supposed to do the next James Bond, playing the lead bad guy," he told The National.

After Danny Boyle's departure from the Bond series, there might be some serious changes to the script and design. Taghmaoui is aware of this and he knows that filmmakers might cast someone else as the villain. "I was cast by Danny Boyle, and just now he left the project, so of course there's some uncertainty," he said.

"We don't know who the director will be, and the producers don't know if they're going to go Russian or Middle East with the baddie right now. I literally just received a message saying: 'If they go Middle East, it's you. If they go Russian, it's someone else.' It's the story of my life. Always on that line between something that could change my life and something that disappears."

Being an Arab actor, he has sidestepped a lot of Middle Eastern roles because of the way Hollywood stereotypes Arabs. And now, in the Bond movie, he will only get the role if the directors go for an Arab villain.

"I know that [Bond] could be seen as a big cliché, and I'm always fighting. I refuse so many roles because you fight to get something, you go and audition, and then, in the end, you have to refuse it because it's just not good. That's how you start your journey," Taghmaoui said.

Taghmaoui is a French-American actor who has given powerful performances in Wonder Woman and G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
