Veteran Bollywood actress Sadhana Shivdasani passed away on 25 December at Mumbai. Her last rites were performed on 26 December morning. The funeral was attended by several Bollywood celebrities, who offered their condolences and prayers for the actress.

Sadhana died at the age of 74 after a prolonged illness. The yesteryear actress was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. The cremation was done at Oshiwara in the presence of Sadhana's family and other Bollywood celebrities.

Celebrities like Waheeda Rahman, Anu Kaoor, Salim Khan, Deepti Naval, Aasha Parekh among others attended the funeral. Soon after the news of her demise had spread, many Bollywood stars took to Twitter and expressed their grief yesterday. Celebrities like Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar, Madhur Bhandarkar, Late Mangeshkar and several others expressed sorrow at the loss.

The veteran actress used to live in the Khar bungalow as a tenant. However, the property was under a dispute as Sadhana earlier alleged that a builder had threatened to kill her if she would not vacate the ground floor, according to Mid-Day.

Sadhana alleged that Yusuf Lakdawala wanted her to vacate the house as he wanted to reconstruct the building. However, the builder denied the allegations and said that someone had influenced her to make those allegations, the report added.
