The makers of Star Plus' long running show "Saath Nibhaana Saathiya" seem to be going through a tough time. After rumours of Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi Bahu and Vishal Singh aka Jigar Modi quitting the show surfaced, another actress has apparently decided to take the exit route as well.

According to India Forums report, Sonam Lamba, who plays the role of Vidya, is mulling over quitting the show. "Sonam's contract is due for a renewal and according to her track, she will decide whether to continue with the show or not," a source told the web-portal.

However, Sonam denied the reports claiming it to be a rumour. "It's nothing like that. I am very much doing the show. It's just a rumour," the actress said.

Meanwhile, there were reports recently that Vishal had decided to quit the show as he wanted to concentrate on his film projects. The actor is awaiting the release of the film "Traffic" and is likely to play an important role in a Hollywood television series. With such a busy schedule ahead of him, Vishal apparently had no option but to quit the daily soap.

"Vishal's debut film is slated to release soon and now, he wants to take up more films. He also wants to travel to Los Angeles for a few months in order to explore opportunities in the international fashion arena following a positive response to his previous endeavours as a model. He has no choice but to quit the show as his schedule blocks him for good. He has already sent a notice to the production house and is now awaiting their response," a source associated with the show had told the Times of India.

On the other hand, Devoleena had threatened to quit the show if makers plan to take another leap in the storyline. It was reported that Devoleena didn't want to age on-screen and her reluctance on playing a grandmother on the show had caused an obstruction for the scriptwriters to pen the story ahead. Unable to convince Devoleena, the makers were mulling the idea of replacing Devoleena with Gia Manek, who initially played the role of Gopi Bahu
