Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who plays the role of Gopi Bahu in "Saath Nibhaana Saathiya," turned a year older on Monday, Aug.22. The actress celebrated her 26th birthday with her family and friends. She also shared some pictures from the party on her Instagram account.
In the pictures, Devoleena, who is clad in traditional attire on the show, is seen in a completely different look. The actress looks gorgeous in an orange dress while posing for photos with her mother and friends from the industry. The bash was also attended by Rucha Hasabnis, who essayed the role of Rashi during the show's initial years.
Recently, Devoleena was in news when she slipped from the staircase of her building and suffered a deep cut on her forehead, which required several stitches at the site of the wound. Considering the fact that Devoleena plays the lead role on the show, she had no choice but to continue shooting. The writers had to include a sequence wherein she was shown to have got injured.
Meanwhile, the viewers of "Saath Nibhaana Saathiya" will soon see their favourite actor Mohammad Nazim, who played the role of Ahem Modi, returning to the show. Rumour has it that Nazim would make a comeback as a new character and not Ahem.
Apparently, Nazim would re-enter the show as a fun-loving Punjabi guy who is Ahem's look-alike. The actor would make a grand entry during the Janmashtami celebrations.
