Kannada actor Upendra has returned to Tollywood with "S/o Satyamurthy" starring Allu Arjun. The film will hit screens on Thursday, 9 April.

His fans across Karnataka are curiously looking forward for the release and hoping that the movie will not only become a hit, but also bring positive reviews for Upendra. He is playing a key role in the movie along with actress Sneha.

As per earlier reports, Upendra is not playing the role of an antagonist, but a character that will have both negative and positive shades to it. It is said that his character is pivotal to the narration.

Upendra is popular in Andhra Pradesh with the movies like "Kanyaadanam", "Oke Maata", "Raa", "Neethone Vuntanu" and "Toss". And most of his hit Kannada movies have been dubbed in Telugu and have done well at box office.

His fans are hoping that Upendra will strike gold with his latest venture "S/o Satyamurthy" like Sudeep did with SS Rajamouli's "Eega". They have to wait one more day to see how the Real Star has performed in the film.

"S/o Satyamurthy" is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and jointly produced by Allu Aravind, DVV Danaiah and S Radha Krishna. Rajendra Prasad, Prakash Raj, Samantha, Sneha, Adah Sharma, Nithya Menen, Brahamanandam, Pavitra Lokesh and others are also in the cast list.

The film has Devi Sri Prasad's music, Prasad Murella's cinematography and Prawin Pudi's editing. "S/o Satyamurthy" is releasing in over 1,300 screens worldwide.
