Akshay Kumar's "Rustom" has received some great PR through actors who have praised the trailer and promoted the crime-thriller in their own little ways. The newest to join the bandwagon is Ajay Devgn.

"I loved the trailer of Akshay Kumar's Rustom and I am sure it will do very well at the Box-Office. I have personally spoken to Akshay and have already wished him the best," the "Shivaay" star told Catch News.

Like we said, he isn't the only one rooting for the film. Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Sonam Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha are some of the A-listers who are thrilled about "Rustom."

Out of the lot, Ranveer's promotional clip was the best. In the said video, he peeps in and out of the frame wearing a uniform while building the suspense and ends it with a hilarious dance.

"Mohenjo Daro" and "Rustom" are gearing up for an intense box office battle starting Aug. 12, but the lead stars don't seem very burdened by it. While Hrithik has promoted "Rustom" on social media, here's what Akshay told BollywoodLife when asked about the clash:

It's (August 12) is a big date, it's a huge date. It has a lot of holidays (August 15 – Independence Day and August 18 – Raksha Bandhan, plus the weekend). And history has shown that two films which had released on such days, have both made money. It has happened a lot of times. We wish both the films do well."

"Rustom," directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, is a loosely-based on the infamous Nanavati case of 1959, in which a naval officer was tried in court for killing his wife's lover in cold blood. The film stars Ileana D'Cruz, Esha Gupta and Arjan Bajwa in key roles.
