Akshay Kumar's latest release "Rustom" continued its successful run at the box office after its first week as well as on the 8th day, both in domestic as well as overseas market. While the film collected Rs. 95.31 crore nett at the Indian box office by the end of its 8th day, its worldwide earning reached over Rs. 120 crore in eight days.

After earning Rs. 20.27 at the overseas market by the end of fourth day "Rustom" made a total first week collection of Rs. 25.31 crore in its first week at the overseas market. Thus, the worldwide business of the Akshay-starrer crossed Rs. 120 crore margin on its 8th day.

Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, "Rustom" was released on Aug.12 and has been having a wonderful run at the box office. The film had opened to mixed critics reviews but "Rustom" picked up extremely well at the box office with positive word of mouth.

It has turned out to be Akshay's highest grossing first week movie of all time and is expected to make many more records at the box office. Co-produced by Neeraj Pandey, the film was one of the most awaited flicks of this year.

While its domestic business has been strong, "Rustom" has been making brilliant collection at the overseas market as well, especially North America (comprising USA and Canada) and G.C.C countries.

Starring Ileana D'Cruz and Esha Gupta among others, "Rustom" has faced competition from Hrithik Roshan's "Mohenjo Daro" but has come up as a clear winner at the box office. The film is expected to carry on its strong hold at the box office for some more days.
