Rumor: LG Nexus 5 Likely to Launch with Android 4.4 KitKat on October 14 Annihilia via Reddit

Google's flagship device, LG Nexus 5 has been in news for a while and is also expected to be rolled out this year. It is now being said that the Nexus 5 will be launched along with Google's new software Android 4.4 KitKat on October 14.

According to an Australian tech blog site AusDroid, there are chances that the will be installed on Nexus 5, but the information has not been confirmed by the search engine giant as yet.

The tech blog gave a list of features that can be expected from the upcoming software. Google might makes changes to the software before officially rolling out as of now some of them rumored features of the KitKat are:
- Miracast Updates
- New Gallery Visualization
- New APIs regarding animations
- Change android default blue to other preset palette colors and
- New notification widgets

Though, Google has not yet confirmed whether the upcoming software will be featuring the above mentioned list of not, users appears to be really looking forward to the software. It is also being said that the best part about the OS is that even the old devices will be able to update to Android 4.4 KitKat.

"It's our goal with Android KitKat to make an amazing Android experience available for everybody," AusDroid quoted Google.

The rumored LG-assembled device will likely be the update of its predecessor Nexus 4, and might give a good competition to the newly launched iPhones, the Galaxy Note III and the Galaxy S4.

The device is expected to carry a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and a 3GB RAM. It is said the device will have a LCD display of 5.2in and a good battery backup of 3,300 mAh, reported Cnet. The camera is suspected to be of 16 megapixels and a 2.1 megapixels front facing camera for video calling.

It is expected that the upcoming device will also do as well as Nexus 4, which was overshadowed when Samsung launched its flagship device Galaxy S4 early 2013.

If the tech giant plans to launch Nexus 5 along with Android 4.4 KitKat, the sales figure of the smartphone is likely to be way better than the predecessor.
