Here are the reviews of "Romeo Juliet" by various critics.

Kollywoodtalks

"The director Lakshman has managed to make the first half Fun and Emotional and the second half becomes predictable and draggy at times. The Screen play is fairly done and the commercial items  like Dandanakka Song and the title card followed with Top Celebrities love scenes covering Rajini, Kamal, Ajith, Vijay and Dhanush has worked out in favor of the movie as they have created applause from the audience."

 Filmibeat

"As the name suggests, this movie revolves around its lead characters and hence demands some decent performances from them. Both Jayam Ravi and Hansika have delivered and as a pair, they look as real as it can get. Hansika impresses with her cute expressions and almost steals the entire first half. Her lip-sync sometimes, goes haywire though. Vamsi Krishna's characterization has been portrayed well throughout and the main antagonist has done justice to his character."

Studio Flicks

"D. Imman is another hero of the movie. Superb music album. Album is already a superhit. All 5 songs are catch and picturized well."

"Cinematography by Sounder Rajan, he has done a good job. Night shots or the day shots, all look beautiful, visual treat to eyes. Dance chorography and costumes require special mentions. Hansika's costumes are awesome. Film runs for 150 minutes. Editing is apt."
