'Rizzoli and Isles' Season 6 Spoilers: Did Kent Kidnap Maura in Episode 12? Show Return Date Revealed

The ladies on "Rizzoli and Isles" are in trouble. Summer's season finale, episode 12 ended with a new twist. In case you missed it, Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander) gets kidnapped by the end of the show. And we expect the series will take off from where it ended in the summer.

Episode 13, which will be released sometime in February, will depict a clueless Jane (Angie Harmon) as he tries to find her best friend Maura. In the promo clip for the latest episode, we see Jane in disbelief as she talks to Korsak. Suffice to say that Jane still does not have a clue about who kidnapped Maura.

One popular fan theory predicts that Maura is kidnapped by her Scottish lab assistant Kent Drake (Adam Sinclair). Throughout the series, he has been strange and has a difficult relationship with Maura and Jane. Furthermore, Kent has military training and could easily execute abduction.

However, showrunner Jan Nash said in an interview to The Hollywood Reporter that Maura and Kent will share a somewhat strange relationship. She said, "We wanted to fill out Maura Isles' world, and have some more people who could be in her world, and we could see her as someone who manages people."

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if Maura can cajole and placate Kent and plan escape.
