Season 6 of "Rizzoli and Isles" has been a delight to watch. Not only is it filled with plots that are interesting and macabre, there are many light-hearted moments that make Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and her best friend, Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander), one of the best duos in the crime genre. The two are arguably smart, intelligent, witty and what's more, personally invested in each other's lives. This was seen in last week's episode, "Nice to Meet You Dr. Isles", and we will continue to see that in episode 9, "Love Taps", as well.

Season 6 Episode 9 titled "Love Taps" has all the ingredients of a Shakespearean tragedy. Jane and Maura are confronted with the death of a 21st century Casanova who dates 32 women, all at the same time. As the two try to uncover the reason behind his death, they trail the murky world of web app developers, virtual relationships and the lies that come with it.

In the promo for episode 9, "Love Taps", Maura is seen asking uncomfortable questions to her suspects. Jane and Maura are willful and unrelenting but they will have to rely on their wits to decide who's telling the truth, as memories attached to relationships are so subjective. Could this murder be guided by jealousy, revenge or infidelity? Perhaps Jane and Maura could use Shakespeare's "Othello" as inspiration in this case of whodunit.

Episode 9's main plot is romance and the producers seem to have explored the subject in Jane and Maura's life as well.

Throughout the episode, the two engage in a witty tête-à-tête about each other's past romances. This seems to be a major theme in season 6 as we have learnt a lot about Jane and Maura's personal life.

However, even as the two prepare for a shocking revelation about the murderer, another piece of news confronts them. Corsak, Jane's former partner and surrogate father, reveals he has a new woman in his life.

Who do you think it is?
