Riverdale stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse have, forever, kept their personal equation out of the tabloids. Even though all evidence points towards them being in a relationship, the couple hasn't confirmed yet.
And now, we hear the two have split. No, don't worry. A part of the Riverdale cast – Sprouse, Camila Mendes, and Charles Melton – spent their Labour Day holiday out in the sea. KJ Apa, who plays Archie Andrews on the show, left a comment that resulted in a few headlines.
He wrote: "Omg.. Coles not sitting next lili..." to which, Reinhart replied "they must've broken up." That's one classic way to shut the trolls and straighten things out. However, very recently, a body-language expert told Cosmopolitan that the two may be hiding their feelings away, but photos suggest otherwise.
Reinhart and Sprouse have been on press tours together along with the rest of the cast. But, there have been instances where the two have exhibited signs that they were attracted to one another. There's this photo of the two at a red carpet that has Reinhart with her hands on Sprouse's chest, indicating "hands off, he's mine," the expert explained.
Reinhart is a closed person and doesn't believe in sharing her personal life with the media and fans. "People will always have something to say. I've accepted that. It doesn't mean it's not frustrating when people say those things. It's not like it just rolls off my back," she told Harper's Bazaar earlier this year.
It's not nice to tell someone's story for them, but we cannot help how Sprouse and Reinhart are often found appreciating one another on social media. But, that could just be unadulterated friendship right?
In other news, Riverdale is gearing up for a cracking season 3 that will air on October 10 on The CW. The one highpoint of the upcoming season will be Andrews' time in prison. In season 2 finale, he was cuffed and led out of Riverdale High by a group of cops. Also, taking a hit will be his and Veronica Lodge's relationship.
