Rick and Morty season 3 spoilers, air date: Creator Dan Harmon won't use Inter-dimensional Cable plot?

It seems that the upcoming season of Adult Swim's Rick and Morty won't have Inter-dimensional Cable plot as series creator Dan Harmon is unsure about it.

According to the recent rumours, season 3 will pick up directly from where season 2 left. However, it seems that the upcoming episodes will bring several significant changes to the show regarding to the plot elements.

Dan Harmon has expressed his hesitance regarding the use of Inter-dimensional Cable plot as he is not sure whether the fans will welcome the idea or not. The same theme has been used in the previous seasons and though it has proved to be a success, Harmon fears that it might bore the audience if they implement it in next season too.

Several speculations state that the plot-line of Rick and Morty season 3 will be modified significantly in order to make the story more interesting. Besides it, the creator has also hinted that more characters might be introduced in the show with the third season along with numerous new twists and turns.

Besides the new characters, the old ones like Jerry, Beth, Summer, Evil Morty, Mr Poopy Butthole, and Mr Meeseeks will also reprise their respective roles from the previous seasons. Rumours state that Rick's ex-wife will also debut with season 3 and will be one of the many highlights of the show.

Season 3 of Rick and Morty is scheduled to premiere in December as claimed by sources. According to sources, Harmon has assured that season 3 will be out before 2016 ends.
