Indian auto lovers will finally be treated to the new 2015 Jazz as it will be launched soon. The Jazz, a premium hatchback from the house of Honda, has made auto lovers in the country wait for a long time after making appearances at various auto shows across the worlds.
The Jazz was recently teased in a video that showed off its sleek and new design, and in its latest teaser image, Honda has confirmed that the 2015 Jazz will officially be launched in India in July. Meanwhile, OnCars.in reports that the bookings for the new 2015 Honda Jazz will commence shortly.
The Jazz, in its comeback to the Indian market, will be getting a stylish design as well as new engine options. This time, the new Jazz will also be offered in diesel engine and, from what we heard, the model is likely to pack the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that powers Amaze and Brio, which can generate a power of 87bhp with a torque of 110Nm at 4,800rpm, and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor that can pump 100PS of power and 200Nm torque. The petrol model of Jazz is expected to come with CVT gearbox.
The new Jazz will be squared off against Maruti Suzuki Swift, Nissan Micra, Volkswagen Polo, and Hyundai i20; and the model is likely to be priced aggressively in the market as Honda is looking for a comeback in its segment.
