Apart from high-profile politicians, industrialist Gautam Adani also attended the reception.
Akhilesh Yadav was seen posing with the newlywed couple, with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla beside him, and later with Sharad Pawar. Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda also attended the event and shared visuals of his interactions with Sharad Pawar, the newlyweds, Praful Patel and Jitendra Awhad.
The reception brought together leaders cutting across political affiliations, including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

For the evening, Sonia Gandhi wore a crisp ivory saree, while Supriya Sule looked stunning in a red saree. Rahul Gandhi opted for a white kurta-pyjama, while Priyanka Gandhi wore a navy blue cotton saree.
Prime Minister Modi wore a white kurta-pyjama with a blue Nehru jacket, while Sharad Pawar opted for a white kurta-pyjama. Gautam Adani attended the reception in a grey suit.

The photograph of Prime Minister Modi, Sharad Pawar and other political leaders together drew attention as it came amid a series of interactions between the Pawar-led NCP (SP) and the Prime Minister, even as the party remains part of the Opposition INDIA bloc.
The NCP (SP) has maintained that such interactions are driven by issues concerning Maharashtra, constituency-level matters and matters of public interest, rather than any political realignment.

Supriya Sule has also reiterated the NCP (SP)'s opposition to the FCRA amendment Bill in its current form.
At the same time, the party's position on delimitation remains under scrutiny, particularly as the Centre prepares to bring legislation related to the exercise before Parliament.
Not the first recent Modi-Pawar meeting
The latest interaction follows a meeting between Prime Minister Modi, Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule in New Delhi on July 22. Pawar and Sule had met the Prime Minister after Pawar's visit to New Delhi, adding to the recent political interactions between the NCP (SP) leadership and the Prime Minister.
