Renault India Pvt. Ltd. launched Lodgy World Edition for the 85PS and 110PS versions on Monday. The 85PS and 110PS version of the Lodgy World Edition has been priced at Rs. 9.74 lakh and Rs. 10.40 Lakh, ex-showroom Delhi, respectively.
Renault India claims the World Edition has been built with 25 new enhancements to the exteriors and interiors of the Lodgy, accentuating its premium look and styling quotient. On the exterior, the World Edition features a jewel-studded front grille complemented with fog lamps outlined in chrome satin garnish.
The MPV features two-tone bumper, 15-inch Nepta finish alloy wheels with black wheel-arch cladding, World Edition badge, body graphics, dual-tone roof rails with chrome satin finish, black and chrome body side moulding and a rear spoiler. The MPV also comes in four colours – the new Fiery Red, Royal Orchid, Pearl White and Moonlight Silver.
The Interior has spruced up with a glossy black foam steering wheel with two-toned World Edition badge, new upholstery with anodized orange lining and anodized orange finish on the centre ring of the instrument cluster and air vents.
"With the Lodgy World Edition, we will further augment Lodgy's value proposition and appeal, with distinctive exterior and interior enhancements that reflect evolving customer trends, coupled with the superior performance, comfort, safety, space and unmatched fuel efficiency that has become a hallmark of the Lodgy range," said Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations in a statement.
The MPV continues to draw power from the 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine in two states of tune- 84bhp and 108bhp. The higher powered version comes mated to six-speed manual and 84bhp version is mated to five-speed manual transmission. It develops claimed fuel efficiency of 19.98kmpl and 21.04kmpl, respectively.
The company has also rejigged the variant range of the MPV. The Lodgy is now sold 85PS std, 85PS RxE(8 seater), 85 PS RxE (7 seater), 85PS RxL (7 seater), World Edition 85PS (8 seater) and World Edition 110PS (8 seater) only. The range now starts at Rs. 7.58 lakh to Rs. 10.40 lakh, ex- showroom Delhi.
