After tasting huge success, the dubbed Telugu version of Sivakarthikeyan's Tamil movie Remo has seen the light of the day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The movie is written and directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan and produced by RD Raja.

The movie tells the story of an aspiring actor played by Sivakarthikeyan, who cross-dresses as a nurse to win the heart of a doctor (Keerthy Suresh). What makes his job tough is that she is already engaged to a man in her profession. How he impresses her and makes her fall in love are told with a lot of humour in Remo.

As the promotional materials indicate, Sivakarthikeyan steals the show in his nurse's avatar. His performance remains the major highlight of the film. Keerthy Suresh is equally good in the time-pass entertainer. Anirudh Ravichander's music is a bonus for those who love good music.

The movie has managed to get fairly positive reviews from the Telugu critics. Below, we bring you their reviews about the Tollywood version of Remo:

Indiaglitz: Remo is escapist fare. If you are looking for popcorn entertainment, go sing 'remo remo'. Be warned that it's more about little moments and not lasting ones. Sivakarthikeyan's Telugu debut will surely win him critical acclaim. The technical team makes it a spicy outing.

123 Telugu: Remo was a huge hit in Tamil only because of the hit pairing, superb chemistry, and Shiva Karthikeyan's craze. But in Telugu, the hero is quite new and so is the pairing. Taking things from the Telugu audience perspective, Keerthi Suresh is a major attraction and has given a standout performance.
