Smartphone users across the country were thrilled when Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani delivered the most disruptive speech to revolutionize the telecom industry and digitalize India. Now, Reliance Jio offers like free voice calls, free roaming and cheapest data plans will be changing our mobile bills forever.

Above all, Reliance Jio introduced what it calls the "Welcome Offer" to all smartphone users, which gives them unlimited access to all Jio services, including 4G data, voice calls, SMS, roaming and Jio suite of premium apps. The unlimited offer comes with an expiry and ends December 31, 2016, just before the commercial launch of Jio.

In order to avail the free Jio services until the end of this year, a 4G LTE enabled smartphone is mandatory. Since most smartphones, including the budget ones, these days come with LTE and VoLTE support, it is highly unlikely that you will be left out of the generous offer. As long as your smartphone is 4G compatible, walk into the nearest Reliance Digital, Express or Express Mini store with your ID and address proof for a free SIM card. But it is better to check for eligibility as the offer may differ based on smartphone and brand.

The Jio Welcome Offer for all smartphones opens on Monday, September 5. Expect longer queues outside Reliance outlets and most stores will be handing out tokens to balance demand and supply.

Below is the official list of all the eligible smartphones for Jio 4G SIM and the Jio Welcome Offer: (Via Jio)
