Actress Reenu Mathews has joined the sets of Sathyan Anthikkad's upcoming untitled movie in its second schedule. The movie, which stars Mohanlal and Manju Warrier in the lead will see her in a pivotal role.
Reenu, who made her debut with Mammootty's "Immanuel" in 2013, did some noticeable characters in "Kullante Bharya", Mammootty's "Praise the Lord" and Prithviraj's "Sapthamashree Thaskaraha".
In the upcoming movie, she plays role of Kalyani, Mohanlal's senior manager at his work place. Both of them work at a popular woman magazine Vanitha Rathnam .
Mohanlal will be seen as Vineeth N Pillai, a reporter who lacks commitment to his work. Due to his careless nature, he is being accused as an irresponsible person by his colleagues and the management.
Manju plays the role of a responsible family court lawyer Deepa, who stands up for what she believes is right and symbolises women power. The film talks about how Vineeth and Deepa, who are poles apart in characters, meet by destiny and the troubles they face to adjust with each other.
The movie is one of the much awaited films of the year and has been in news because of the speculations on its title. There were rumours that the film is titled as "Vineethamayi Apekshikunnu" but makers later confirmed that the movie is yet to be titled.
The story of this multi-starrer movie is done by veteran actor Raveendran and Ranjan Pramod has penned the script. Ranjan had earlier scripted Anthikkad's two hit films "Manassinakkare" (2003) and "Achuvinte Amma" (2005).
Innocent plays a pivotal role in this family entertainer. The music of the film is done by Vidyasagar and the lyrics are penned by Rafeeq Ahammed..
The untitled movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirwad Cinemas.
