New Delhi, Nov 28 (ANI): Reactions come in as the Vice Chancellor of the Aligarh Muslim University wrote to Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani, warning of "massive student unrest" and a "probability of communal conflagration" if "certain elements" go ahead with their plan to commemorate the birthday of Raja Mahendra Pratap, on the varsity campus on December 1. BJP said that AMU should refrain from communalizing and try to keep itself away from politics for the good of the university. Meanwhile, Congress leader Manish Tewari said that if the central university's VC is saying something, it should be taken into cognizance. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that BJP has this ideology of communalizing the atmosphere and such acts will further deteriorate conditions in UP and the university.
