Director Sampath Nandi's much-awaited Telugu movie "Bengal Tiger" starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in the lead roles is gearing up for a massive release in theatres around the world this Friday.

Story: "Bengal Tiger" is an action film written by Sampath Nandi. The makers of the movie have kept the story under wraps. They say it is an out-and-out commercial movie that features Ravi Teja in a different way. The hero has got the skills of the ferocious Bengal Tiger, which is the most intelligent animal. So, the flick has been titled after the wild animal.

Cast and Crew: Ravi Teja has played the lead role Akash Narayan, while Tamannaah Bhatia and Rashi Khanna appeared his love interest Meera and Shradha in "Bengal Tiger". Brahmanandam, Boman Irani, Rao Ramesh, Sayaji Shinde, Posani Krishna Murali and others are in the supporting cast. Harshvardhan Rane and Aksha Pardasany have made cameo appearances, while Hamsa Nandini is seen in the item song of the film.

Besides direction, Sampath Nandi has also written story, screenplay and dialogues for "Bengal Tiger", which has been produced by KK Radha Mohan under the banner of Sri Satya Sai Arts. Bheems Cecireleo, who is making his debut as music director with this film, has composed tunes for soundtracks and background score. Soundararajan has cranked the camera for the movie, while Gautham Raju handled the editing work.

Budget, Shooting and Promotion: "Bengal Tiger" has reportedly been made with a whopping budget of Rs 25 crore. The film has been shot in beautiful locales of Rajahmundry, Pollachi, Hyderabad and Europe for 100 days. The movie has made it to headlines for several good reasons. Its promos have impressed the audience and got positive response. The makers have also done massive promotions for it.

Volume of Release and advance booking: "Bengal Tiger" is slated to release in over 600 theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, 150 cinema halls in rest of India and 125 screens in the international markets. The film will hit over 875 cinema halls across the globe on 10 December. The movie has got superb advancing bookings in Telugu speaking states for its opening day, but it has got poor response in Karnataka and other areas.

Box Office Prediction: The hype and advance booking show that "Bengal Tiger" will debut with superb response in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and the US. It will erase the opening day records of Ravi Teja's previous movies. But, the word-of-mouth will decides business in the following days.
