Even as Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are tight-lipped about their relationship, a recent incident seems to have strengthen the rumours about the "Ram Leela" stars secretly dating each other.
According to reports, Ranveer, who sustained a leg injury while shooting for his upcoming movie "Gunday", recently drove all the way from Mumbai to Wai to meet Deepika who is shooting there for "Chennai Express".
Ranveer, who sustained three stitches after a deep cut during the shoot of a wrestling scene in "Gunday", had reportedly rushed to Wai to meet Deepika following his arrival in Mumbai from Kolkata.
"During a wrestling scene with his Gunday co-star Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer sustained an injury. Deepika was shooting for Chennai Express in Wai. After reaching Wai, Ranveer was spotted hobbling around," Mid-Day quoted a source as saying.
However, the actor did not meet Deepika on the sets which is presumed to avoid being caught by the paparazzi. Rather, her waited in a hotel for her till she returned from the shoot.
"He remained in the hotel for Dippy to return. He was seen limping all day," a source from the hotel said.
Another industry source said that Ranveer was indeed in town and flew back to Kolkata on 25 March.
Praising her "Ram Leela" co-star Deepika recently said, "He's a wonderful person. He has the ability to walk into a room and make you feel like you're the most important person in the world. And it's not just with people he knows. He could be meeting someone for the first time and make him feel like they're best friends," Hindustan Times reported.
The two stars will soon be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming venture "Ram Leela" which is expected to hit the screens on 29 November.
