Anurag Basu directed film, "Jagga Jasoos", which has Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, will reportedly have two leading ladies - Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt.

Recent reports suggested that Anurag Basu had been keen to repeat his successful "Barfi" pair and has approached Priyanka for the upcoming thriller.

"Priyanka also worked in Anurag's Barfi! opposite Ranbir. The director had been planning to finalise the cast for a while now," Mid Day quoted a source as saying.

However, there has been no confirmation from Basu or Priyanka Chopra. The "Barfi" heroine has a few films in hand like "Gunday", "Zanjeer" and Mary Kom biopic, so she may take up the film only if she finds dates.

If Priyanka joins Ranbir, it will be their third film together after "Anjaana Anjaani" and "Barfi!".

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt has been confirmed for the detective flick.

"Anurag is busy with the script of the film and he is leaving no stone unturned to perfect the draft. In the middle of all this, he has met Alia and spoke to her about the film. The makers feel that she will be just apt for the role," Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying.

"Alia doesn't want to let go off this opportunity. After all, Anurag is one of the highest paid and most sought after directors today."

"Jagga Jasoos" will be jointly produced by Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu under Picture Shuru Productions and will be along the lines of 'Sherlock Holmes-meets-James Bond-meets-Mission Impossible' in typical Bollywood entertainer with right dose of action, comedy and music to cater to popular taste.
