Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor reportedly skipped the wedding party of Katrina Kaif's sister on Sunday as he was busy shooting with Anushka Sharma in Sri Lanka for "Bombay Velvet" directed by Anurag Kashyap.
Katrina Kaif's sister Natacha got married on Sunday in London and the actress had reportedly invited some people close to her, including Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukherjee, Aditya Chopra, Ali Abbas Zafar, Arjun Kapoor and Salman Khan's sister Alvira Khan.
However, Ranbir could not make it to the wedding party, as he has been busy travelling between Sri Lanka and India for the shooting of "Bombay Velvet" and dubbing of "Besharam" in Mumbai.
"Kat's family had been in Mumbai for a while to prepare for the wedding trousseau. The actress left for London on Sunday night and is expected back in the city in a couple of days. Ranbir is neck-deep in work. "Kat is cool with Ranbir's decision as she knows work comes first," added the source.
Ranbir and Katrina are rumoured to be dating though they have not made it public. They have been spotted together at various happening spots and were even caught on camera while holidaying in Spain. Pictures of Katrina in a bikini with Ranbir taken during the trip made it to the media.
The beach photos of the couple reportedly didn't go down well with the Kapoor family. Zoom channel reported that Ranbir's father Rishi Kapoor didn't allow Katrina to enter the Kapoor residence 'Krishna Raj' after the bikini photos hit the headlines.
It was also reported that Ranbir's parents were not happy with the leak of the couple's holiday photos, as they are afraid that it could affect their son's image in the film industry.
