
All eyes were on The Ramayana: Part 1 trailer launch, which was held in Delhi on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The entire cast and crew attended the grand event. Dressed in traditional attire, the cast exuded royalty as they kick-started promotions of Bharat Mandapam. Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Shri Hanuman, Laksham, Ravana, and the faces of other cast members were unveiled.
Ranbir Kapoor wore a classic black bandhgala, while his bow-and-arrow brooch garnered attention. He also wore black glasses as he has contracted conjunctivitis.
Sai Pallavi looked stunning in a saree. Ravi Dubey, who plays Lakshman, wore a bandhgala and black sunglasses. Yash, who essays Ravana, opted for a kurta-pyjama, while Sunny Deol, who plays Lord Hanuman, wore a crisp black suit.
Everyone spoke in Hindi while talking about theier character and role. However, Sai Pallavi and Yash addressed the audience in English.

Sai Pallavi said she can speak in Hindi but is being careful as she isn't well-versed in the language. She also shared, "I would meditate and pray that Maa Sita bless me before I get into the character."

Ravi Dubey, as Lakshman, introduced himself and spoke in shudh Hindi. Sunny Deol also called himself fortunate to essay the role of Ram bhakt Hanuman.
Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Prabhu Shri Ram, greeted the audience with "Jai Shri Ram." He also apologised for wearing glasses, saying he has an eye infection.

Playing Lord Ram, Ranbir Kapoor also introduced Arun Govil's character and praised the veteran actor for essaying Lord Ram. He said, "First of all, I would like to talk to Mr Arun Govil. Sir, you have carried this responsibility with such beauty, honesty and dignity for years."
He also touched Kumar Vishwas' and Sunny Deol's feet as a mark of respect.
Yash also spoke in English, and he said he is still learning Hindi. He shared that he is working on the language and his diction.
