Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is so obsessed with Madhuri Dixit that he "bribed" his buddy cum "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" (YJHD) director Ayan Mukerji to let him kiss the actress on the sets of the film.
Ranbir and Madhuri recently shot for an item song "Ghagra" in "YJHD" during which he persuaded Ayan to let him kiss her on the cheeks while shaking a leg with the dance diva.
Ranbir confessed to the incident while he was attending an event to promote "YJHD". He said Madhuri was his first love and that he was heartbroken when she got married.
"She (Madhuri) was my first love and my heart broke when she got married. I was happy when I got the opportunity to dance with her and see her," he said, reported Press Trust of India.
Praising the actress for her professionalism Ranbir said, "She is sincere, passionate and talented. It was great working with her. She is wonderful."
Meanwhile, the audio of the much hyped item number, which is choreographed by Farah Khan, has gone viral on the internet. The video will reportedly be released between 15-17 May.
"YJHD" is set to hit screens on 31 May. Apart from Ranbir, the film also stars his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone, "Aashiqui 2" fame Aditya Roy Kapoor and Kalki Koechlin.
The romantic flick, produced by Karan Johar, had already grabbed attention as Ranbir and Deepika will be sharing screen space for the first time post their break up. The film's trailer which showed the two actors sharing great chemistry was an instant hit.
Both Ranbir and Deepika said they were comfortable working with each other onscreen. Ranbir even said that he was looking forward to work with her after "YJHD".
"There was no baggage. We have remained friends and both of us just loved our parts in this film," Ranbir said.
"It is great to see her growth as an actor and I look forward to working with her again."
