Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan started trending on Twitter for their chemistry in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (AHDM) soon after the teaser of the song Darkhaast from Ajay Devgn's Shivaay was trending. While fans of Ranbir and Aishwarya praised the duo for their sizzling camaraderie, fans of Ajay called it paid trends by Karan Johar.

Ranbir and Aishwarya were seen getting quite cosy in the song Bulleya from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Apart from the track, their camaraderie also was much talked about. The song teaser of Darkhaast from Shivaay was released on Tuesday and it started trending on Twitter.

Although there is no poster or song release from the makers of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on Tuesday, Ranbir, Aishwarya and the Karan Johar film started trending on the micro-blogging site. Many people started praising the star's chemistry and the film. Nevertheless, some fans of Shivaay started ridiculing KJo, alleging him of setting paid trends in order to tone down Shivaay's popularity on social media.

After some time, Karan Johar also started trending as fans from both sides began ridiculing each other. Earlier also, fans of Ajay had alleged Karan of setting up paid trends after the teaser of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was released. Ajay's fans shared some screenshots of tweets that showed same persons tweeting negatively about the teaser first and later praising it. Check some tweets praising Ranbir and Aishwarya's chemistry.

Ajay had also shared an audio earlier, in which self-claimed critic Kamaal R Khan was heard admitting of taking Rs 25 lakh from Karan to promote Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The Shivaay vs Ae Dil Hai Mushkil clash has been intensifying with every passing day.

This appears to be the biggest box office clash of 2017. Both the films will be released on Oct. 28 during the festive period of Diwali. Makers of Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil are leaving no stone unturned to promote their respective films.
