Here is some exciting news for Ram Charan's fans.

The first teaser of Ram Charan's "Govindudu Andarivadele" (GAV) is all set to release on 7 August evening. The news has been confirmed by the film's producer Ganesh Bandla.

The film's first look posters, which were released for Charan's birthday, have created a lot of positive buzz about the project. Now, it remains to be seen if the teaser will impress the audience.

Directed by Krishna Vamsi, "GAV" is one of the most-anticipated films of 2014. The film, touted to be a family entertainer, will reportedly have Charan playing the role of an NRI. Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead opposite him for the third time after "Magadheera" and "Naayak." Meka Srikanth, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha and Vennela Kishore are also part of the film's cast.

Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is working on the film's sound tracks, while Sameer Reddy is handling the camera work. Ganesh Bandla is producing the film under his Parameswara Art Productions banner.

It is for the first time that Charan has teamed up with director Krishna Vamsi. The shooting of "GAV" is progressing at a brisk pace. Recently, the film's team wrapped up a schedule in Pollachi and are also set to begin the next schedule, reported the Times of India.

Once the shooting is completed, the post-production work will begin in full swing. The family drama is slated to hit the screens for Dussehra this October. It will be Charan's second release of 2014 after his Sankranti release "Yevadu."

If reports are to be believed, "GAV" is expected to clash with Mahesh Babu's "Aagadu," which is slated to hit the screens in the last week of September. It may be recalled that Charan and Babu's films have clashed on two occasions before. Charan's "Naayak" and Babu's "Seethama Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" locked horns during 2013 Sankranti. Despite the clash, both the films fared well at the box office.

Again this year, the young stars' "Yevadu" and "1 Nenokkadine" clashed during the Sankranti festival period, but Charan starrer outperformed "1 Nenokkadine" and emerged as a hit film.

It will be a real treat for the fans if their films – "GAV" and "Aagadu" – clash at the box office.
