Rakul Preet Singh, who had reportedly signed the multi-starrer Thupparivaalan earlier, is not part of the project anymore. She has been now replaced by Anu Emmanuel in the upcoming movie, which is written and directed by Mysskin.
The buzz is that Rakul Preet Singh has walked out of the film citing date issues. It is reported that the dates allotted by her for Thupparivaalan were clashing with one of her forthcoming films. Hence, she has opted out of the Tamil flick.
Without any choice, the makers were forced to find a suitable actress. Their search reportedly ended with Anu Emmanuel, who has stepped into the shoes of Rakul Preet Singh in the forthcoming Tamil flick.
Thupparivaalan is a fantasy film in which Vishal Krishna, Prasanna, Akshara Haasan and Vinay are said to be playing key roles. Mysskin has written and directed the movie, which has the music of Arrol Corelli.
Coming back to Rakul Preet Singh, she is currently working on Mahesh Babu's forthcoming movie, written and directed by AR Murugadoss. It is a bilingual project which is simultaneously being made in Tamil and Telugu.
The actress, who made her Tamil debut with Arun Vijay's Thadaiyara Thaakka in 2012, has been approached to play an important role in Vikram's forthcoming movie Saamy 2. The actress has reportedly given her consent to act in the Hari-directorial action flick.
