Fans have been eagerly looking for the first-look teaser of "Lingaa", which is expected to be released soon. However, there is no official word regarding the film's audio or teaser release.

Rajinikanth is reportedly appearing in dual roles in "Lingaa," which is touted to be a commercial entertainer. The film, directed by KS Ravikumar, is set in two different eras – pre-Independence and post-Independence periods.

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha makes her Tamil film debut with "Lingaa," while Anushka Shetty plays the other female lead. Santhanam, Vijayakumar, Jagapathi Babu, Karunakaran, Radha Ravi and Manobala are also reportedly part of the film's cast.

Sonakshi Sinha has reportedly completed her portions for the film. On her Twitter handle, the actress has stated that she enjoyed doing her debut flick in Tamil. "Lingaa is done!! The film's shooting is expected to be wrapped up soon after which the post-production work will commence. The Rajinikanth starrer is likely to hit the screens on 12 December as a birthday treat for superstar fans.
