New Delhi, June 19 (ANI): Railway Minister Sadanand Gowda held a meeting with officials in New Delhi to discuss about fare hike and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in railways. Gowda addressed all General Managers (GM), Divisional Railway Managers (DRM) and other senior officials on Thursday to finalise the way forward. He said that Indian railways was short of resources and that railways is looking for funds mobilisation through Foreign Direct Invetsment. Ahead of the Rail budget, Gowda while addressing all heads of departments spoke about his priorities and the governement's vision in terms of hiking passenger fares and allowing foreign direct investment.
