New Delhi, Feb 26 (ANI): Former Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi on Thursday said that there is a need to strengthen the foundation of railways. He added that no big change will be introduced in the railway budget as today an Indian railway is bankrupt. Former MoS, Railways Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury also expressed similar sentiments. Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will present Rail Budget for fiscal year 2015-16 in the Parliament today. This will be the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government's first full-fledged railway budget. People have high expectations from the Railway Budget and are expecting clean energy, modernization of trains, passengers' safety and rail connectivity in the north-eastern states among others this time.
