New Delhi, Feb 22 (ANI): Accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of betrayal, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, hinted that government might pass anti-graft bill through ordinance. An ordinance or executive order remains in effect only for three months and it lapses if it is not cleared by Parliament. The Government couldn’t take up these bills in the last session of parliament before polls as proceedings were marred by disruptions by a section of Congress leaders and regional parties over creation of separate state of Telangana. The BJP turned down the government’s request to extend the session by a few days to take up these bills, which Gandhi has been pushing.
