Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon attended a bash together amid rumours of his split with long-time girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. Apparently, they looked comfortable in each other's company and even danced at the party.
Although they looked at ease, they refused to be "snapped together," reported the Times of India. They didn't want to be seen in the same frame and so posed separately for the shutterbugs.
The buzz suggests the stars are close to each other, but this incident doesn't indicate there's something cooking between the two. Sushant and Kriti have jetted off to Croatia for Dinesh Vijan's "Raabta."
Sushant and Ankita started dating on the sets of popular TV show "Pavitra Rishta." Although the "M.S. Dhoni : The Untold Story" actor has been clear about what he wanted from the relationship, Ankita wasn't confident about it working out.
A close friend of the couple's told Mumbai Mirror that Sushant would provide Ankita with details from his shoot schedules and at times also ask her to come off with him, but still differences cropped up.
Since Sushant held Ankita close to his heart, he would often sit her down, explain that nothing would go wrong. "He was always transparent about his feelings and Ankita knew that he loved her. But she had been through some bad experiences and that made her fidgety," the friend explained.
The young actor is heartbroken, but hasn't given up hope. "He is as heartbroken as he was when his mother died 10 years ago. But he tells himself that if he could be happy after his mother left, there's hope for him. For now it's going to be only work," the leading daily quoted the friend as saying.
