With "Qubool Hai" taking a 20-year leap, lead actor Karanvir Bohra has decided not to extend his stint in the show. And to make his journey memorable, the cast of the show recently threw a farewell party for the actor.

Varun Toorkey, who plays Shaad, had organised a small get-together for Karanvir at his house, which was attended by the show's lead actress Surbhi Jyoti along with other star cast Additi Gupta, Alka Kaushal, directors and writers.

After wrapping up his last day shoot, Karanvir has flown down to Canada to take a break from his hectic work schedule. In fact, he left for the country the very next day of the party. The hunk shared some pictures from the bash as well his trip.

"Varun Toorkey who plays Shaad in the show arranged for the farewell party at his place and invited almost the entire cast and crew. As Karanvir is flying to Canada, Varun made sure that everybody meets up before he leaves. The writers, directors, star cast including Alka Kaushal, Surbhi Jyoti, Additi Gupta, Nirmal Soni, Vaishali Nazareth and many more were present," a source told India-Forums.

Surbhi Chandana, who plays Haya on the show told the web-portal: "We had a break that day and also Karanvir is flying next night so it was an impromptu plan to give him a small farewell and have a get together. We anyways try to meet as much as possible because we like each other's company. The farewell party was full on music, so we danced madly till 6 in the morning and also Varun has a beautiful garden attached to his house so we enjoyed the sunrise there."

Meanwhile, post the generation leap, "Beintehaa" actor Harshad Arora will be replacing Karanvir. The actor will be seen romancing Surbhi, who will play the character Mahira. The story will now revolve around a love triangle.

Apparently, the makers have come up with a new story as the show's timeslot has been advanced in order retain TRP rating and this makes it necessary to have a fresh plot.
