The audio of Vijay's "Puli" will be launched on Sunday, 2 August, at a grand event in Chennai, where Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu will be the special guest, if rumour mills are to be believed.

The other Telugu star actor, whose likely presence at the event is a subject of intense speculation, is Mega Star Chiranjeevi.

Mahesh Babu has been personally invited by Vijay and the former apparently agreed instantly to grace the function, but Chiranjeevi is yet to confirm whether he will take be attending the launch.

Apart from these two, many other celebrities have been invited for the "Puli" music release function. Kamal Haasan too is likely to grace the event. The makers of the movie have planned a lavish event on the outskirts of Chennai, at Mahabalipuram.
