Bangalore /New Delhi, July 18 (ANI): Members of a student organisation and BJP on Friday protested against the rape of a six-year-old girl by two staff members in her school in Bangalore.The crime took place on July 02 in the school campus during class hours and the child is now receiving treatment in hospital. Members of student organisation Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) gathered outside the school and staged a protest, accusing the school authority of inaction. They said the government should step up their efforts and address the issue with utmost urgency. The girl was allegedly raped by a security guard and a gym teacher. Meanwhile, BJP leaders also protested outside the assembly against the ruling Congress government for its failure to take steps. Condemning the incident, women activist Annie Raja slammed the government for acting in a non-serious manner towards such crimes.
