New Delhi, July 27 (ANI): The protest by India's civil services aspirants' intensified on Sunday with four students sitting on a fast unto death, demanding the scrapping of some part of the new examination format, conducting of examination in regional languages, especially Hindi and postponement of the preliminary test. The protesters are planning to protest semi-naked on Sunday evening so that their message is heard loud and clear by the government. Earlier, the government told the parliament that it had asked a committee to submit its report on the issue within a week to give level-playing field to those coming from rural areas. The angry students had damaged vehicles and blocked road on Thursday (July 24) evening after the UPSC issued admit cards for the preliminary examination to be held on August 24. The student wing of Congress party - NSUI, had also held a sit-in protest earlier to support the protesting students.
