Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has reportedly bagged a Hollywood film and a new international series after "Quantico." Though the actress has not signed any Bollywood project yet, there are reports that Ajay Devgn has suggested her name for the lead actress in "Baadshaho."

"The actress is hot on the international circuit today. Also, Ajay has been keen to work with PC for some time. He suggested her name to Milan. In fact, Ajay was to do 'Bajirao Mastani' wherein she played Kashibai, but that didn't work out," DNA quoted a source as saying.

"Ajay and PC had last worked together in 'Blackmail' (2005). After that, Priyanka was to do Anees Bazmee's 'Benaam' with Ajay, but just three days into the shooting, she backed out claiming date issues. This had upset Ajay and they haven't worked together since. Now if PC does 'Badshaaho,' both stars will put the past behind them and start afresh," the source added.

Earlier, there were reports that Kareena Kapoor Khan was roped in to star opposite Ajay in Milan Luthria's film. But, later the actress opted out of the project and even Shruti Haasan, who was initially finalised for "Baadshaho," later walked out of the film.

Meanwhile, Priyanka is in talks to star in the film that also features Vidyut Jamwal. The storyline of "Baadshaho" is loosely based on the 1975 emergency. "This is an EXPLOSIVE idea, based loosely on true events that transpired during the Emergency. The action and music are rustic and set in Rajasthan," Catch News quoted Milan's official statement.

"I am thrilled to collaborate with Bhushan (Kumar) and Ajay, but I don't want to reveal too much about the film at the moment, except to say that like my other films, this will also be a blend of action, humour, emotion and one liners. Rajat Aroraa has written the script, and Bhushan and I plan to produce the film on a grand scale," he added.

Slated for a Jan. 26, 2017, release, the Ajay-starrer will clash with Hrithik Roshan's "Kaabil" at the box office.
