After directing films like "Jaan-E-Mann" and "Joker," filmmaker Shirish Kunder is set to come up with heroine-centric film "Mrs Serial Killer." In this film, the female protagonist's character will be fierce and dark.

The director of upcoming short film "Kriti," which stars Radhika Apte and Manoj Bajpayee, has planned on starting the shooting of "Mrs Serial Killer" at the end of this year. "It's a crime thriller, set at a hill station with a 40-day shooting schedule. I plan to start shooting at the end of the year as the story is set against a cold, wintry background. I require an actress, who is a performer. It's a dark, edgy, and fast-paced script. It's a Gone Girls-meets-Breaking Bad," Shirish told DNA.

According to the story of "Mrs Serial Killer," the female protagonist is a good person who has to do bad things for a good purpose. When asked about any actress that he is thinking to cast, he said he feels awkward to approach anybody, thus looking for a producer. It seems Shirish has forgotten that he is married to one of Bollywood's famous producers, Farah Khan.

On the other hand, an insider revealed that three actresses are being considered for the lead role. "Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra and Katrina Kaif are being considered for the female protagonist's role," DNA quoted the insider as saying.

Priyanka, who has become an international face now, is quite busy with her current projects. Katrina and Parineeti are the actresses who might agree to do this flick. But, Shirish told the leading daily that he has not approached anybody yet and the bigger the actress, the bigger will be his budget.

If any of these three top actresses accept the offer to play the protagonist in "Mrs Serial Killer," then Shirish will definitely have to increase his budget.
