Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra's ex-manager Prakash Jaju revealed on social media that the "Quantico" actress attempted to kill herself in her struggling days. He claimed that not just once, but Priyanka tried to commit suicide twice or thrice.

Prakash revealed the details on Twitter April 2, but it should be take with a pinch of salt as his past raises doubts over his credibility. Priyanka's ex-manager spent 67 days in jail after the actress' parents filed a police complaint alleging he was harassing her by sending her obscene messages.

"PC may look very strong now but she was also very vulnerable in struggling days, tried to commit suicide 2-3 times but i managed to stop her," he tweeted Saturday morning.

The dark side of entertainment industry cannot be avoided. Many actresses deal with depression and some even ended their lives after failing to cope with it. In fact, the demise of television star Pratyusha Banerjee April 1 shocked the industry.

Initially, Priyanka also had to struggle professionally to reach the top. She has not only impressed the Indian audience, but is also making a mark in Hollywood.

Things turned ugly between Priyanka and Prakash a few years ago when the latter was reportedly fired from his job on allegations that he had harassed the actress. He then alleged that Priyanka had fired him on false allegations and did not pay him his dues.

Priyanka's parents filed a police complaint alleging that he had been sending threatening and obscene messages to the actress. He was arrested and had to spend 67 days in prison.

Later, Priyanka's ex-boyfriend Aseem Merchant announced he would make a film, titled "67 Days," on the episode. However, the film was eventually shelved after PeeCee sent a legal notice to Aseem.

But, according to Prakash's recent tweet, it seems the film will be made.
