Yesteryear actors Ambareesh and Ambika's "Chali chali" song from the 80s film "Chakravyuha" had stolen the hearts of the masses. It was the classic rain song in Sandalwood. Now, Darshan- and Priyamani-starrer movie "Ambareesha" has a similar song with the same opening lines making that track a hit.

The song has been shot at Abbaiah Naidu Studios, Bangalore for which a colourful set was erected. The first line of "Chali chali" of "Chakravyuha" has been used and the remaining lyrics are freshly written. In the video, Priyamani looks stunning as the track has been shot at its glamorous best. Darshan's strong screen presence just adds value to the number, which is composed by current sensation V Harikrishna.

Good Response On Youtube

The song was released on Youtube at the end of August, 2014 and it has got a stupendous response. In about 45 days, the song got above 65,000 hits on the video-sharing website, which is quite a remarkable feat for a Kannada track.

Audio Big Hit
Not only the "Chali chali" song, but a few other songs from "Ambaressha" have got a thumbs up from the Kannada audience. "Gandara ganda", "Poojyaaya raghavendraya" and "Kannalle bacchidala" have impressed music lovers. Once again, V Harikrishna has turned out to be lucky for Challenging Star Darshan.

"Ambareesha"
The movie is named after yesteryear star Ambareesh, who will be seen in a cameo along with his wife and actress Sumalatha. The shooting has been completed but director Mahesh Sukhadhare is reportedly reworking on a few portions of the film to give it a better look. The Sandalwood film is likely to release in November. Apart from Darshan and Priyamani, Rachita Ram, Kelly Dorji, Sampath Raj, Umashree, Ravi Kale, Sadhu Kokila, Bullet Prakash and others are in the cast.
