Sujith Vaassudev's debut directorial venture "James and Alice" is one of the much-anticipated films in Malayalam this year as it has Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead.
The photos from the shooting location of the flick show Prithviraj in two avatars in the movie — one as a modern young man with a ponytail and another in a salt-and-pepper avatar with a short boxed beard and a sharp hairstyle. Prithviraj's character James' life before and after his marriage is being narrated in the flick.
Prithviraj will be seen as an artist in the first half of the movie, after which he opts for the field of advertising to make a livelihood. Vedhika plays a banker opposite Prithviraj in the family entertainer. The couple marry against the wishes of their parents, and the movie deals with the misunderstandings between them due to their busy lives. "James and Alice" marks the comeback of the actor-pair: They were last seen together in director Vasanthabalan's "Kaaviya Thalaivan" in 2014.
"James and Alice" has been scripted by Dr S Janardhanan and produced by Dr S Sajikumar and Krishnan Sethukumar under the banner Dharmik Films. It also has Sai Kumar, Manju Pillai, Nedumudi Venu and Sijoy Varghese in pivotal roles. The Prithviraj and Vedhika-starrer is expected to hit the theatres April 29.
