New Delhi, Nov 07 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee left for Bhutan on his two day visit aiming at the agreement on Bhutan providing assistance in revamping ancient Indian Nalanda University. During a news conference by India’s foreign ministry in New Delhi, Venu Rajamony said one of the most important aspects of his foreign trips is to promote educational exchanges with foreign countries. Foreign secretary to president, Sujatha Singh said at the invitation of his majesty the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, Mukherjee would be in Bhutan on a state visit from November 07-08. Mukherjee will address Bhutanese leaders, officials, professionals and intelligentsia on India-Bhutan relations at the convention centre in Thimpu.
