A disciple of spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj died after allegedly falling from the fourth floor of an ashram in Uttar Pradesh's Vrindavan, with police suspecting suicide.

The deceased was identified as Deepak Lodhi, also known as Rasik Dulari Sharan, a resident of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. According to police, Lodhi was staying at the Guru Kripa Kunj Ashram, associated with Keli Kunj.

Police said they received information on Friday morning that an injured man had been admitted to a hospital. An investigation identified him as Deepak Lodhi, who was residing at the ashram.

According to a senior police officer, Lodhi allegedly jumped from the fourth floor of the ashram at around 10:30 am. He sustained serious injuries and later died. Police said evidence had been collected from the scene and his family members had been informed.

The circumstances surrounding the fall are being investigated, and police currently suspect that Lodhi died by suicide.

Deepak Lodhi, also known as Rasik Dulari Sharan, was a disciple of Premanand Maharaj and had been staying at the Guru Kripa Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan.

Premanand Maharaj, whose birth name is Aniruddha Kumar Pandey, is associated with the Radhavallabh sect and is widely known for his spiritual discourses on Radha and Krishna. His daily satsang at Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj attracts devotees from India and abroad.
